Though I think I am crazy by the end of the term it always seems to get better. This last episode of craziness was Larry having an emergency surgery taking 5 hours to complete. Then he developed an infection which the doctor opened him up in his hospital room to clean the infection out. It is amazing the pain he can handle most people would have passed out. We finally were able to get him home only to turn around and take him back to the hospital 2 days later. He became severely dehydrated. After all of this Dr. Hill managed to get him better. It is amazing what the human body can take. For instance did I mention that Dr. Hill opened Larry’s stomach up and left it opened didn’t think so. They put this black sponge (black from charcoal) in it so it will heal from the bottom up. Along with the sponge, they added a tube so it would drain. I’ll have pictures up soon. You know me and showing off pictures. He is doing a lot better.
As for me so am I for instance I will be defending my dissertation on October 31, 2007 isn’t this great.

Finally, I will be able to graduate it has been a long road with many challenges and bumps. Lessons I have learned I plan on writing them down the one I wish sunk in would have been handling challenges better. But to my failure I still don’t handle them as well as I would like. Yes life has been a whirl wind these past few weeks now I’m in an upward swing my regret is not handling all of this work, Larry’s sickness, Cory and Carly, dissertation etc… better. The one thing I am thankful for is the fact that each day is new and there is the ever grateful cycle of forgiveness.
