Stories we all have one. Our stories are what makes the difference, and if we can tell them we can hope to help each other. In the end, we have nothing to offer each other but our stories.
A story I would like to tell today is about a mom who passed recently but lives on in our hearts. She was a wonderful lady full of life, excitement, and fun. She was a southern lady that expected her daughters to be ladies. After a while I think she gave up on it because she use to tell us we should be raised in a barn.
She was a beautiful woman both on the inside and out. Her grace was evident in everything she accomplished. Though she is not remembered by the world she is remembered by all those that she touched her family and friends.
She taught us to love not only each other but others as well. She showed us how to experience the Lord's love and then to extend that love to others. She made sure we knew not to ever leave anyone out and to make sure there was always room for one more.
She gave unselfishly to us, her children were first, what I admire most about my mom is that we came before the world. She sacrificed herself in raising us. The unique and wonderful thing about a mothers sacrifice is that her legacy lives on in her children.
